4th Sunday of Easter - Good Shepherd Sunday - Prayer for Vocations

Lord Jesus, You are the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for His sheep. As You called by name Your first apostles, call now many young men to continue the mission You entrusted to Hour Church to make disciples of all nations. Fill their hearts with joy and holy zeal at the prospect of making You better known and loved.
We pray also for our seminarians, priests and consecrated religious that You may sustain them in the holy desire that first prompted them to serve Hour people with generous and pure hearts.
We pray for the Holy Father, all bishops and priests: make them faithful shepherds of the flock entrusted to their care, who by renouncing the spirit of the world will labour tirelessly to lead souls to You, the Chief Shepherd, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
